My last urine test showed some protein and my doc has asked to monitor it. Im 30 weeks now and feeling a bit anxious about it. Did anyone manage to bring it down, what did you do?
This is one area where home advice really doesnt apply, because it's tied to conditions that need medical watching. Keep up your checkups, get your BP and urine tested as advised, and follow your gynac's plan. Please dont delay reporting it to your doctor.
My doctor explained protein in urine can sometimes point to high blood pressure issues in pregnancy, so it's checked carefully. She managed it with regular BP checks, monitoring and proper diet guidance. The key thing she stressed was not to ignore it and to keep all appointments. Definitely a doctor-led thing, not a self treatment one.
Beta, this needs your doctor's attention, not home remedies. Just stay regular with your visits and tests, and tell them right away. They will guide your diet and keep an eye on everything for you.
Protein in urine is something you really should not try to manage on your own, it can be linked to BP and needs monitoring. Please tell your gynac and follow exactly what she says. In my case they kept a close watch and it was the right call, dont rely on home tips for this.
