My husband says i have started snoring loudly since few weeks, never happened before pregnancy. Im in 7th month now and i think its the blocked nose. Thoda embarrassing honestly. Anyone found a way to reduce it?
Don't feel bad about snoring, your body is working hard to grow a soul. Keep your head slightly elevated and pray for a peaceful night's sleep, things will become better.
Pregnancy snoring is mostly due to hormonal congestion or sleeping on your back. Get a side-sleeping pregnancy pillow immediately and check your BP with your gynac, just to rule out any issues.
During my pregnancy, I started snoring heavily because of nasal congestion and weight gain, which made my post-C-section recovery even more tiring. Try sleeping on your side with extra pillows, it really helped me breathe easier.
It is quite common to snore because of swelling in nasal passages. Just try using a humidifier in your room and sleep on your left side to get comfortable sleep.
I felt so embarrassed when my husband told me I started snoring in my second trimester. I actually tried elevating my head with double pillows and used nasal strips which helped a bit.
