At home we switched white rice to a bit of kambu and ragi, and amma made more keerai. But I always confirmed the diet with my doctor since sugar is serious. Walking after meals helped me a lot too.

I am working so I kept it simple, idli with less and more sambar veggies, avoided sweets and juices. A short walk after lunch made a real difference in my readings. But pls follow your doctor's chart, that is the main thing.
