Im in my 7th week and the vomiting is bohot zyada, almost har subah. My amma speaks only tamil so agar koi tamil mein samjha sake toh main usko bata dungi. Anyone with simple tamil tips, pls share.
My mother-in-law used to give me warm ginger and honey water or dry roasted cumin seeds to chew. It helps a lot to settle the stomach, but if the vomiting is too severe, please check with your doctor for safe morning sickness tablets. Trust what your doc says.
Vomiting can sometimes make it hard to keep your regular medicines down, which is a bit risky if u have thyroid issues like I did. Definitely talk to your gynac because they can give u a safe morning tablet to control it. Regular check-ups are so important to keep track of your levels.
I totally understand how exhausting and draining this vomiting feeling is, love. Just remember this is a phase and your beautiful baby is growing strong inside u. Take deep breaths, sip some cold lemon water, and rest as much as u can.
Honestly, expensive medicines aren't always needed for normal nausea. Just keep some cardamom (elaichi) in your mouth or drink simple warm ginger water. Also, don't keep an empty stomach, try to eat small portions of whatever simple food u can easily digest.
Please take care dear, vomiting is common but don't let dehydration happen. If u can't keep even water down, pls contact your gynac immediately to be safe. For mild feeling, u can smell fresh lemon or ginger, but don't stress your body too much right now.
Oh god, morning sickness was the absolute worst phase for me, literally felt like dying every morning. Tamil remedies actually suggest ginger tea (inji tea) or just sucking on a small piece of lemon. Try having dry biscuits first thing in the morning before getting out of bed, it really helped me survive those weeks.
Haha welcome to the club, my baby made me throw up even if I just looked at the kitchen! Ginger candies or simple lemon pickle saved my life during those crazy 3 months. Just think of it as your little one saying a very noisy hello!
