The white discharge has increased a lot lately, im in 2nd trimester. No itching or smell but it feels uncomfortable thoda. Is this normal or something to control? How did u all manage it?
Some white discharge is very normal in pregnancy because of increased blood flow. Just wear comfortable, breathable cotton panties and change them if you feel wet. But if there is any itching or bad smell, please let your doctor know.
I used to worry so much about every little discharge and kept checking my underwear every hour! Honestly, thin white discharge is totally fine, but please watch out for any foul smell or curd-like texture. If you feel even slightly anxious, just message your gynac once for peace of mind.
Actually yaar, mild white discharge is super common during pregnancy, so don't worry. Just keep the area dry and avoid using any fancy scented washes down there. But if it looks yellow or smells weird, call your gynac immediately.
Increased discharge is usually normal, but since our immunity is a bit low during pregnancy, infections can happen easily. Make sure you mention it during your regular doctor check-ups, especially if you also have other issues like thyroid or diabetes.
Keep your sugar levels in check because high sugar can sometimes cause yeast infections leading to excess discharge. Eat healthy, drink lots of water, and if you feel any burning or itching, ask your doctor for safe vaginal suppositories.
I had it too and it is mostly just your body's way of preventing infections from reaching the uterus. Just maintain good hygiene and stick to cotton underwear. It's totally normal so keep smiling!
