Honestly just use a pregnancy app, you enter your last period date and it counts the weeks and even shows baby size weekly. I never had to do the math myself. Super convenient for a first timer.
My doctor counts from the first day of your last menstrual period, not from when you conceived. That is why you are technically two weeks pregnant at ovulation, which threw me off at first. The dating scan fine tunes the exact weeks.
Count from the first day of your last period, full term is around 40 weeks. The early scan corrects it if your dates are off. Dont overthink the exact day, your gynac will keep you posted at each visit.
