I have dry cough from 3 days and nights are uncomfortable. I am avoiding random medicines and want to ask my gynac if it continues. Any safe home things that gave relief?
Honey in warm water, ginger tea, and steam worked for me both pregnancies. Stay hydrated, rest your voice. Just dont pop any cough syrup on your own, get it cleared by gynac if it doesnt settle in few days.
Quick things that fit a busy day, warm water sips through the day, honey before bed, and a 5 min steam at night. Rest is the real medicine though. If it drags on or you cant sleep, call your doctor, dont self medicate.
Beta warm water with a little honey soothes the throat nicely, and steam inhalation helps too. Gargle with warm salt water. These are safe small remedies, but if the cough stays long or you get fever, please show the doctor.
My mom made me warm turmeric milk and honey water, it really calmed the throat. Steam twice a day helps na. But for any medicine i always asked my doctor first, especially in pregnancy.
Coughing with a queasy tummy is the worst combo, i feel you. Warm honey water and steam were gentle on me. Avoid strong remedies that upset stomach. Anything beyond mild, ask your gynac before taking syrup.
