Running a mild fever since morning and feeling so weak. I know i cant just take any random medicine now so feeling helpless. Planning to call my gynac but what do you all do for relief at home?
For mild fever rest, lots of fluids, and a cold cloth on forehead help while u contact ur doctor. Never take any medicine on ur own, only what gynac specifically allows in pregnancy.
Please dont self treat fever in pregnancy, and dont take any random tablet. Call ur gynac, fever specially with chills or above 100 needs to be checked. Mine wanted me to come in immediately.
When i had fever my doc said hydrate, rest, sponge with normal water, and she told me the exact safe medicine and dose herself. Thats the key, only take what ur doctor prescribes, nothing from the medical store on own.
Beta drink plenty of water and rest, maybe a damp cloth on the head for comfort. But fever in pregnancy is not to be ignored, do call ur doctor, dont just rely on home things.
