Im in my 7th month and i just cannot sleep, whole raat i keep turning side to side. By morning im so thak jati hu. What are you all doing to actually fall asleep? thoda desperate now.
In my experience, a warm shower right before bed really helped calm my body down. Now that I am breastfeeding and awake at odd hours anyway, I realize those sleepless pregnancy nights were just training, haha. Try to rest whenever u can during the day.
Pregnancy insomnia is so common, especially in the later months! Try drinking a glass of warm milk before bed and keep your room slightly cool. A good pregnancy pillow also helps support your back and bump.
With my PCOS history, I was always extra cautious about everything. I found that doing some light breathing exercises and avoiding screen time an hour before bed helped calm my mind. Don't take any OTC sleep meds without asking your gynac first, okay?
Oh sweetie, I totally understand how frustrating and exhausting this is. Your body is working so hard to grow this little miracle, so please don't be hard on yourself. Sending u so much love and hoping u get some peaceful sleep tonight.
I can only share what worked for me, as I am not a doctor. I used to listen to soft instrumental music on my phone and put a pillow between my knees. It really helped me drift off, but do talk to your doctor if it's too severe.
Oh I used to panic so much thinking my sleeplessness would affect the baby! But my doc reassured me that baby is perfectly fine sleeping while we are awake. Once I stopped stressing, I actually started sleeping a bit better, so just relax.
Sleeplessness is hard, especially thinking about the delivery ahead. When I had my C-section, the recovery made sleep even trickier at first, but using lots of pillows for support was a lifesaver. Try getting used to side sleeping with pillows now itself, it helps a lot.
