This shooting pain from my lower back down to my leg is killing me, started around my third trimester. Some days i can barely walk to the kitchen. What helped you ladies, im planning to ask my gynac too but want to hear real experiences.
Mild ho to rest and warmth se manage ho jaata hai. But mere case me back pain was linked to something else, so I'd say don't ignore severe or persistent pain, get it evaluated by your doctor properly.
Sciatica is so common, dono baar mujhe hua. Heat pad, gentle walking and not standing too long worked. A pregnancy pillow really helps at night. If it stops you from walking properly, get it checked.
My doctor allowed me some prenatal stretches and a few cat-cow type moves, and they really helped my sciatica. Pelvic tilts were a lifesaver. Just please get any exercise cleared by your doctor first before starting.
Oh that shooting pain down the leg, I had it badly in my last trimester. A warm compress and sleeping with a pillow between my knees helped me a lot. It eased off after delivery. Hang in there.
Gentle stretches and warm compress gave me some relief. Avoid sitting too long in one position. But if the pain becomes sharp, constant or you feel numbness, please tell your gynac, don't just push through it.
