How to cure urinary tract infection during pregnancy?
Getting that burning feeling while peeing since yesterday and i think it might be a uti. Im 6 months along and bit scared because of pregnancy. Planning to see my gynac but wanted to know what others did, anyone else dealt with this?
Please do not try to treat a UTI on your own in pregnancy, this is important. Mine got worse when I delayed and it can affect the baby if ignored. Go to your gynac, they will give a safe medicine and it clears up fine.
Staying hydrated and good hygiene definitely help as support. But UTI is not something to manage with only home stuff during pregnancy. For the actual infection please see your gynac, that is the safe way.
I know it is hard to fit in a clinic visit, but dont skip it for a UTI. I booked a quick appointment, gave urine sample and got safe medicine same day. It cleared fast once treated properly, dont delay it.
My doctor said UTI in pregnancy needs proper treatment, not just home tips, because untreated it can lead to bigger problems. She gave me a pregnancy safe course and asked me to drink lots of water alongside. So definitely get it diagnosed first.
Drinking plenty of water and not holding your pee helps prevent it, haan. But once you actually have a UTI burning, you need a doctor and a proper test. Dont waste time on only home remedies for this one.
