How to deal with anxiety and depression during pregnancy?
Honestly im struggling yaar. Some days i just feel low for no reason and then tension about everything baby related. Im 22 weeks and i dont want to feel like this. how did u all cope? any small things that helped.
Actually, when I spoke to my gynac about my constant mood drops, she explained that pregnancy hormones completely alter our brain chemistry. She strictly told me not to ignore it and suggested talking to a counselor. Please discuss this in your next check-up, okay?
My physical health was so bad with constant vomiting that I fell into a deep sad phase. It’s hard to stay positive when u feel sick 24/7. What helped me was just accepting that some days will be bad, and taking absolute bed rest.
Omg, same here! I am in my second trimester and some days I just cry for no reason at all. Does anyone else also feel super lonely even when family is around? How do u guys distract yourself?
Listen, its very normal to feel this way, please don't feel guilty. Hormones can really mess with your head during these months. Just take one day at a time, talk to your husband, and if it gets too heavy, please speak to your doctor without any hesitation.
Uff, 3rd trimester fatigue is real and it makes me so cranky! Some days I am anxious about labor, other days I am just crying because I can't tie my shoes. I just watch funny serials now to keep my sanity intact, otherwise brain will explode.
I used to literally panic at every small thing and felt so low in my first trimester. Honestly, once I started sharing my feelings with other moms, I realized we all go through this phase. It gets better, trust me.
Honestly, whenever my mood goes down, I just order some hot samosas or make a nice cold chocolate shake. Good food works like magic for my anxiety. Feed the baby what it wants and see how the mood lifts up!
Whenever I felt anxious, I would just put on some light bhajan or old songs and do simple breathing exercises. Also, talking to my mom or a close friend for just 10 mins daily helped a lot. Keep yourself busy with small light household chores if possible.
