I have a kidney stent and some days the pain is really sharp, especially when I walk or sit long. Being pregnant makes me more anxious because I can't just take random pain tablets. Anyone here went through this and how did you cope till doctor visit?
I totally understand how draining constant pain is on top of pregnancy, you're doing so well. Lean on ur doctors for the medicine part and rest as much as u can, sending love.
My cousin had a stent during pregnancy, doctor said lots of water, soft movements and they reviewed it regularly to decide timing. Painkillers in pregnancy must be doctor approved only. Keep both specialists talking to each other.
Stent pain in pregnancy is not something to manage with home tips, pls keep ur urologist and gynac both in loop. If pain is sharp or u get fever or burning, go in fast, dont wait it out.
Oh that sounds really tiring, take care of urself. Mom kept me hydrated and i rested a lot which eased my back type pains, but for stent pain only ur doctors can guide the safe way.
When something like this came up i just called the hospital helpline and they coordinated between departments. Ask them clearly about pain management and warning signs to watch for. They handle these together.
I know stent pain is no joke, hang in there. Note when it gets worse and tell ur doctor, dont silently bear it. For relief pls ask them what's safe to take, nothing on ur own na.
