My bp came slightly high at my last checkup and the gynac told me to keep an eye on it. Im 6 months along and honestly a bit scared now. Apart from medicines what helped u keep it in control? lifestyle tips pls.
My doctor advised low salt food, enough rest, staying hydrated and watching for headaches or swelling. She also checked for protein in urine to rule out preeclampsia. If BP stays high it needs medical management, not home tricks alone.
High BP in pregnancy is serious so please do not try to manage it alone. I had it and my gynac monitored me closely and adjusted things. Cut salt, rest and get your BP checked regularly, but follow your doctor strictly on this.
Lifestyle helps a little like reducing salt and resting, but high BP in pregnancy really needs your gynac. Dont take any BP medicine on your own. Regular monitoring is the most important thing here.
