Im around 19 weeks and i think i feel something sometimes but not sure if its baby or just gas honestly haha. How do u tell the difference and what should i be feeling for?
Mostly, you'll feel tiny flutters or a gentle shift inside from around 18 weeks, though some feel it earlier. It's very subtle first. Try sitting quietly with your hands on your belly, sometimes a glass of fruit juice can make the baby more active. But if you have any concerns about movement, always consult your doctor.
Everyone feels it differently and at different times. For me, it was around 18-19 weeks, a very subtle flutter initially. It just got stronger and more noticeable over the weeks. Don't worry if you don't feel it exactly when others do.
It's truly an incredible moment when you first feel your baby move, darling. Like a little secret dance just for you. Initially, it might feel like gas bubbles or a muscle twitch, but soon you'll recognize that special rhythm. Cherish every single kick, they grow up too fast.
I'm 20 weeks now and I think I'm feeling some light flutters, but I'm not entirely sure if it's just gas, haha! Is it always obvious when it's the baby? How did you all distinguish it? I really want to feel those definite kicks.
Yaar, it's super exciting! Initially, it feels like 'gas-pas' actually, around 18-20 weeks. Like little fish swimming or bubbles. But then it gets stronger, proper kicks and punches. I used to just lie down quietly, esp. at night, and wait for them. It's the best feeling, totally worth the wait!
Feeling the baby move is so good, it's free entertainment before they arrive, haha! Actually, they usually start around 18-20 weeks. Don't stress too much if it's not super strong right away, it gets clearer later. Just focus on healthy eating and saving up for delivery costs, that's more important.
Oh, it's the most magical feeling! I felt it first around 19 weeks, like little butterflies fluttering inside me. Then it became more distinct, like gentle taps. I would often just lie down quietly after meals and concentrate, that's when I felt it most clearly. So special.
You'll feel it between 16-24 weeks, mostly like bubbles or light taps. With your first, it takes longer to recognize. Just relax, lie on your side, and put your hands on your belly after a meal or when you're resting. It gets stronger and more frequent as the weeks pass. If you're concerned, ask your gynac.
The first movements, called 'quickening,' usually start between 16 and 25 weeks. First-time moms often feel it later, closer to 20-22 weeks. My doctor advised me to pay attention when I'm relaxed, especially after eating. Later, they'll tell you to do kick counts, but that's for third trimester.
