My dadi says you can tell pregnancy from the pulse before any test. I find it interesting but not sure how true it is. Anyone actually heard about this method?
Is this really a thing? I felt my pulse was racing in my first trimester, but I thought it was just my anxiety! Did anyone else feel their heart beating faster before they took a test?
Pulse checking is not accurate at all and will just confuse you. A basic urine test kit costs only 50-60 rupees at any medical store and gives 99% accurate results. Don't waste time on these methods, just buy a kit.
My grandmother and saas used to say they could tell pregnancy by holding the wrist, but honestly, it's just an old myth. I tried it but got no clear idea, so I secretly bought a test kit which showed positive!
I don't think you can reliably check pregnancy just by checking your pulse, even though heart rate goes up slightly when you conceive. Best to wait for your period date and do a standard home test. It is the most accurate way!
I actually panicked because my resting heart rate went up to 90 and I thought I had a heart issue! Turns out it's normal in early pregnancy, but please don't use pulse to confirm pregnancy. Just do a home urine test to be sure.
