My aunt swears she could tell she was pregnant just by checking her pulse before any test. Sounds desi but im curious now haha, my period is late and im waiting to test. Does pulse rate really show anything?
There isnt a real scientific way to know from pulse rate. Slight changes happen but they prove nothing on their own. Take a urine test, and confirm with a blood test at the lab if you want surety.
Beta in older days some said they could tell by feeling the pulse, but that is not something to trust now. Just get a test kit from the medical shop, it gives a clear answer. Why guess when a proper test is there.
Honestly pulse rate is not a reliable way to detect pregnancy. Heart rate can go up slightly in pregnancy but it also rises with stress, fever, anything. The only proper ways are a urine test kit or a blood beta hCG test.
I have heard these old pulse tricks but please dont depend on them. A home pregnancy kit after a missed period is cheap and accurate. Pulse can change for a hundred reasons, it cant confirm pregnancy.
