I have pcos so my periods never come on time, which means I cant even rely on a missed period to know. We are trying and its so confusing not having any clear signs. How do you figure it out when u have pcos?
I understand how confusing it gets with PCOS, the waiting is so hard. We relied on the doctor's blood tests rather than home kits for peace of mind. Be kind to yourself through it, and lean on your gynac for the timing.
With PCOS the tricky part is your periods are irregular, so you cant rely on a missed period as the cue. I tracked ovulation and tested about 2 weeks after, then confirmed with a blood beta hCG. Honestly the blood test through gynac is the most reliable for us.
My doctor said for PCOS the best is a blood hCG test since cycle dates are unpredictable. Home kits work but you may not know when to test. Early ultrasound also helps confirm. Dont go just by symptoms because PCOS itself mimics some of them.
