How to do internal examination for pregnancy?

My gynac said she'll do an internal exam at my next visit and honestly im a bit nervous as ive never had one. just want to know what happens in it and if it hurts. first pregnancy so everything is new for me.

This is strictly done by the doctor during a visit, not at home. To confirm pregnancy first just take a urine test and then book a gynac appointment. They decide if an internal exam or scan is even needed.

Internal examination is something only the gynac does at the clinic, its not a home thing at all. They do it gently to check the cervix or position when needed. Please dont try anything yourself, just go to your doctor for any internal check.
