My back and legs are aching by end of day and i want to get a gentle massage to relax. But im scared which areas to avoid and what oil is ok. How do u all manage this safely?
In our family gentle oil massage is a tradition after a few months for relaxation. I enjoyed it for my back and feet. I kept it soft and checked with my gynac that it was fine for me first.
My MIL gave me gentle oil massages on legs and back, said it helps circulation and sleep. It felt so relaxing honestly. Just keep it light and avoid the tummy area, and tell your doctor if you have any issues.
Gentle massage for legs, back and feet is lovely for the aches. Avoid heavy pressure on the belly and certain points, and use a trained prenatal masseuse if you can. I did it in second and third trimester and it really helped my back.
I had a slightly sensitive pregnancy so my doctor told me to avoid strong massage. Please ask your gynac first, especially in early weeks or if there were any complications. Gentle leg massage was okay for me once she approved.
