These days my mind is full of tension and i dont sleep well, im 4 months along. Everyone says meditation helps but i never did it before so dunno how to even start. Any simple tips for beginners?
My MIL always said to sit quietly and 'man ko shant karo' in pregnancy. For me, it was mostly just sitting in a quiet corner of the house, away from all the noise. I'd just close my eyes and try to feel the baby move, that was my meditation. No fancy poses needed.
Meditation with twins on the way? Haha, good luck finding five minutes! Honestly, I just tried to sit in a comfy chair, put on some soft music, and focus on my breathing. For me, that counted as meditation. Sometimes it was just staring at the wall quietly for a few mins before the chaos started again!
Oh god, early in my pregnancy, I used to panic about everything! Meditation really helped me calm down. I just used to sit quietly, close my eyes, and focus on my breath. Maybe a guided meditation app could help you start? Don't overthink it, thoda practice se aa jaata hai.
Bahut achha idea hai meditation ka, it really helps with stress. You can start with simple deep breathing exercises while sitting or lying down comfortably. There are lots of free guided meditations online too, specially for pregnancy. Just find a quiet spot and give yourself that time, it's so worth it.
Oh, I felt so overwhelmed sometimes during pregnancy. I used to just sit in my room, play some calming music, and gently rub my belly. I focused on connecting with my baby, thinking positive thoughts. It made me feel so much more peaceful and connected, I felt it was the best kind of meditation for me.
Meditation sounds lovely, but please first talk to your gynac, especially if you had any complications or high-risk pregnancy. I had some issues, so my doctor advised against anything that could strain me, even simple breathing exercises. It's always best to be safe and confirm with your doc.
