My back pain is increasing in 3rd trimester and someone suggested pelvic tilts can help. But im not sure of the correct way to do them safely. Can anyone explain the steps?
I followed a prenatal exercise app that showed pelvic tilts with proper video, much easier than reading steps. Just make sure whatever app, you've got doctor's go ahead to exercise. Form is everything here.
I did gentle pelvic tilts in pregnancy and they were nice for my lower back. Keep it slow, breathe, dont push. After my c section my physio guided me, so I'd say get proper guidance to do them safely.
I do these but only after my doctor okayed exercise. On hands and knees, gently tuck your back up and release, slow and easy. Never force it. Please check with your gynac first before starting any of this.
Pelvic tilts really helped my back pain. You can do standing against wall or on all fours, just small gentle movements, no jerks. But honestly learn it from a prenatal class or physio, doing it right matters.
