My gynac mentioned i may need a c section because of baby position. This is my first so i have no idea how the whole operation actually happens. Can someone who had it explain what to expect?
Could you tell more about what operation you mean, C-section, or something else? Either way its something only your gynac decides and performs based on your scans and condition. Please talk to your doctor directly, they will guide the whole process safely.
Just to be clear, a pregnancy related operation like C-section isnt something done at home or by self, it happens in a hospital with a surgical team. Whatever your reason for asking, the right person is your gynac, please consult them.
If you are asking about C-section, mine was planned. They numb you from waist down so you are awake but no pain, and you even hear baby cry. Recovery took me a few weeks, walking slowly and keeping the cut clean. Your doctor will explain everything once they decide if you need one.
If its the delivery operation you are worried about, dont stress beta. The doctor handles all of it, you just rest and follow instructions. Ask your gynac to walk you through it, they explain very patiently.
I think you mean C-section operation? Thats fully done by the doctor in the OT, you cant do anything yourself. They give anaesthesia (usually spinal), make a cut on lower tummy and take the baby out, takes about 30-45 mins. You just need to follow your gynac for prep and recovery.
