My belly is starting to show now in the 4th month and none of my jeans fit comfortably. I dont want to spend a lot on maternity clothes either. What did you all wear that was comfy and still looked decent?
Loose, soft and breathable is the way to go :) I loved my comfy maxi dresses, felt cute and relaxed both. Get good supportive footwear too, your feet will thank you later.
Comfort over everything honestly, I lived in loose cotton kurtis and leggings with stretchy waists. For office I picked flowy tops that didnt cling. Avoid tight waistbands, they get so uncomfortable as the bump grows.
Actually I just sized up in normal clothes instead of buying expensive maternity stuff yaar. Cotton maxi dresses and palazzos were my go to. Breathable and roomy is the whole trick honestly.
Dont spend too much on maternity clothes, you wear them only a few months. I bought a couple of stretchy leggings and borrowed loose kurtas from family. Saved that money for the hospital and baby stuff instead.
