Someone told me about castor oil near delivery and it sounded risky to me. I am not planning to try anything without asking doctor. Has anyone's gynac ever talked about this?
Beti, in our village, we mostly use castor oil for hair or sometimes after delivery if the doctor says. But during pregnancy, especially early on, it's not good. It can make tummy very upset and cause problems. Please avoid it and talk to your doctor or elders first.
Oh dear, I would be extremely cautious with something like castor oil. After all the effort and emotional investment, it's just not worth taking any chances. Your gynac is the absolute best person to advise on *any* ingestible, especially something known to induce contractions. Please confirm with them before even considering it.
Castor oil? Oh my god, is that even safe to drink during pregnancy? I'm in my second trimester and already so anxious about everything I put in my body. My gynac has never mentioned it. Did someone suggest it to you? I feel like we should definitely ask the doctor first, I'm too scared to try anything without their okay.
Castor oil? Ugh, sounds absolutely disgusting! 🤢 Why would you even want to drink that when there are so many yummy things to eat? If you're constipated, try a big bowl of papaya or some soaked prunes. Much tastier and safer, trust me!
Arre baccha, castor oil is only for specific situations and usually very late in pregnancy, if at all, and only under supervision. It's not something to just take for normal pregnancy issues. If you have constipation, try gentle remedies like more water, fruits, and fibre. Do not take castor oil on your own.
Please, please, do NOT take castor oil during pregnancy unless your doctor explicitly tells you to for a very specific reason, usually near full term and under supervision. It can cause very strong uterine contractions and is extremely risky, potentially leading to premature labor or other complications. Always check with your gynac before consuming anything like this.
