Im almost 37 weeks and people keep telling me the baby will drop down before labour but mine still feels really high up. is there anything that naturally helps with this? just curious how it happened for you all.
Waiting for mine to drop so I can finally breathe properly lol, currently the baby is living under my ribs. People say walking helps engagement but really it happens when it happens. Hang in there.
Please dont try any trick to force the baby down or to come early, thats not safe. Dropping happens naturally and the timing varies. If u feel a lot of pressure or contractions, then check with ur gynac.
For me baby dropped about 2 weeks before delivery and I just noticed I could eat more comfortably haha. Its the body getting ready on its own. Some women it happens only when labour starts, both are normal.
If u mean the baby dropping lower before labour, thats called lightening and it happens on its own near the end, u dont make it happen. Suddenly u can breathe easier but feel more pressure down below. Totally natural in the last weeks.
