Im 37 weeks now and baby still feels really high up, getting so much pressure under my ribs. I keep hearing about baby dropping before labour. how does that happen and is there anything that helps?
If you mean the baby dropping lower before delivery, that happens naturally on its own in the last weeks na, you dont need to do anything. If you mean something else please talk to your doctor, dont try anything yourself.
Baby drops down into the pelvis on its own near the due date, its called lightening. Both my times it just happened, i didnt do anything special. Walking a bit helps but let it be natural.
Please dont try any tricks to make it happen, anything that affects the pregnancy should only be under your gynac's guidance. If you are worried about position or timing, just ask your doctor at the next visit.
I think you mean when the baby settles low before birth? My doc said it happens by itself in the end, nothing to do. Did anyone feel a sudden lighter breathing when it happened?
