Everyone keeps telling me to eat almonds for the baby but no one says how exactly. Soaked, raw, with milk? I get a little confused yaar. How are u all having them?
Amma always said soaked almonds in the morning are good for the baby, so I followed that calmly. A handful is enough. If you have any nut allergy or diet restriction though, do check with your doctor first.
Honestly I dont have time to soak and peel daily, so I just keep a small box of almonds in my bag and munch a few. Soaked is better but plain is also fine. Realistic option for busy days.
Beta hum to raat ko 5-6 badam paani me bhigo dete hain aur subah chhilka utaar ke khate hain. Soaked badam easy to digest hote hain. Bas zyada mat khao, mutthi bhar kaafi hai din me.
I love throwing chopped almonds on my oats and fruit bowl, makes it so much tastier. Also almond milk in my smoothie. Just dont go overboard, they are heavy. Yum and healthy both.
I soak around 4-5 almonds overnight and have them in the morning with my walk routine. Good energy and keeps me full. I asked my doctor about quantity and she said a small handful daily is perfect.
