I keep hearing amla is good for immunity and all but raw amla is too sour for me right now with the nausea. Looking for easier ways to have it. How do u all take it?
I used to have one small amla a day, sometimes as murabba or in juice form with little salt. Its great for vitamin C and immunity. Just dont go overboard, one or two is enough.
Best way is fresh, either juice in morning or just eat a piece. Avoid too much sugar loaded amla murabba daily. I had it both times, helped with digestion also.
My mother makes amla pachadi at home, we ate it normally. Boiled and made into small pieces with salt is also nice. Doctor said vitamin C is good for me so I continued calmly.
Actually I liked the amla candy and dried amla, less sour and easy to chew when nausea was there. Fresh grated amla in dal or salad also works yaar. Keep it simple.
If you eat murabba watch the sugar, that was my issue. I stuck to plain amla juice diluted with water. Good for you but moderation is key, and check with doc if you have any sugar concern.
