Everyone keeps telling me to eat khajoor for easy delivery but no one says how many or when to start. Do u eat it plain, soak it, with milk? a bit lost honestly. pls share how u had them.
My mother in law made date and dry fruit laddoos for me, so tasty and filling. Soaked dates in warm milk also worked. Family says it helps later in pregnancy, but i still confirmed quantity with my doctor.
I ate around 2-4 dates daily in the last trimester. You can have them plain, in milk, or chopped in a smoothie. Theyre good for iron and energy. Just dont overdo it because they are quite sweet.
Dates are good but please be careful if your sugar runs high like mine did. I had to limit them. If your reports are normal, a couple a day from the third trimester is what my gynac was fine with.
I read on a pregnancy app that dates from around 36 weeks may help, so i had a few daily then. I mixed them into oats and shakes. Just keep the count reasonable and ask doc if youre diabetic.
Beta in our house we always gave dates in the last months, soaked overnight is easiest on the tummy. 2-3 a day is plenty. Many believe it helps with delivery. But do check with doctor if you have sugar issues.
