My MIL got me a big box of anjeer and told me to have it daily but didnt say how. Should i soak it overnight or just eat dry, and how many in a day? Bit confused tbh.
Dried figs are quite high in sugar, so with my GD I had only one and counted it. If your sugar's fine you've more freedom, but still keep it to a couple. Soaked ones are gentler.
I love anjeer haha. Chop fresh ones into curd, or have soaked dried ones as a sweet little snack instead of mithai. Just don't get carried away, they're naturally sweet and easy to overeat.
We always soaked anjeer in milk overnight and ate it in the morning, very good for strength they say. Two pieces is enough beta. Soaking makes it easy on the tummy. Don't eat a whole packet at once.
You can have fresh figs as is, or soak the dried ones (anjeer) in water or milk overnight and eat 2-3. Good for iron and fibre, helped my constipation actually. Just keep the quantity small, they're sugary.
