My MIL keeps telling me to have anjeer daily but im confused, soaked overnight ya dry as it is? Im in second trimester and want to add it but not sure about the right way. How do u all eat it?
Humare ghar mein toh humesha bhigo ke hi dete the. Dried figs are heavy to digest directly, so soak them in warm water for few hours first. It's soft and sweet, very good for your health beta.
I have also heard that soaking figs overnight makes them easier to digest. Actually, I am trying to conceive and thinking of starting this soon. Hopefully it helps with overall health, fingers crossed.
When I was staying at my mum's place during my second trimester, my mom used to boil 2 figs in milk every night. She said it gives so much strength to the body. It was like a cozy bedtime ritual for me.
Figs are a great source of natural energy and fiber, perfect before my daily evening walks! I pair 2 soaked figs with a handful of almonds after checking with my doctor first. Just make sure your gynac allows it if you have high sugar levels.
Daily 2-3 anjeer paani mein soak karke subah khao, it's very good for digestion. Pregnancy mein constipation bahut hota hai na, so this really helps. Overeat mat karna bas.
Is it better to eat fresh figs or the dry ones? I am planning to conceive next year so trying to make some healthy diet changes. Let me know if u have any good recipes too!
In this third trimester, I'm literally eating figs like medicine just to clear my stomach, god the constipation is real! I put them in milkshakes because honestly, who has the energy to chew dry fruits now. Just don't go crazy with the portion or you'll be running to the loo.
