Just found out im pregnant and im so curious to know around when baby will come. My periods were always a bit irregular so im not sure how to count properly. How did you all figure out your due date?
I just entered my last period date in a due date app and it gave me the date instantly. Then the first scan confirmed it. The app also showed my weeks which was handy.
Count 40 weeks from the first day of your last period, thats the basic way. But the early scan gives the most accurate date. Both my dates were adjusted slightly after the dating scan.
My doctor explained the LMP method gives an estimate, and the crown rump length on the early ultrasound fine tunes it. She said only about 5 percent deliver exactly on the date anyway. So treat it as a window not a fixed day.
