First time mom here, around 18 weeks. I keep waiting to feel the baby move but honestly I cant tell whats the baby and whats just gas. How did you all first realise it was actually the baby? pls share.
Im 19 weeks and just started feeling these little flutters, sometimes i wonder if im imagining it. Did you all also feel unsure in the beginning? My doc said it gets very obvious by 24 weeks so im waiting.
Be patient, it comes when its time. Quiet moments at night when you lie down are when you notice it most. And later if you ever feel less movement than usual, dont ignore it, just check with your gynac.
The first time i felt it i thought it was gas, like tiny bubbles popping in my tummy. Around 20 weeks it became clearer and i would just lie still on my side to feel it. Honestly best feeling ever, i used to cry happy tears.
Lie down on your left side after eating something, baby usually gets active then. First baby you feel later, around 20-22 weeks, second baby earlier. Early movements feel like flutters, not kicks.
Such a sweet phase na. I used to talk and play soft music, my baby would respond with little kicks. Family says baby recognises your voice, true or not it was lovely. Just rest on your side and you will feel.
My doctor said try lying on your side, have a glass of juice or something sweet and stay quiet for a bit, baby often moves then. She also told me once movements are regular, do daily kick counts, and if movements reduce a lot, call her immediately.
