My periods have always been irregular so im confused about the exact dates. The doc gave me a due date from the scan but i still wonder when it actually happened. How did u all figure this out?
It is hard to pin the exact day at home. The first trimester dating scan is the proper way and your doctor reads it best. I would just go by what the gynac says.
Doctors usually count from the first day of your last period, not the actual conception day. The dating scan in early pregnancy gives a more accurate estimate. So your gynac will tell you the closest date.
I tracked my cycle and ovulation on an app so I had a rough idea of conception. But honestly the early ultrasound corrected my dates a little. The scan is the most accurate way.
