I know in India they dont tell the gender and thats fine, im not against it. Just generally curious how it is actually found out, like which scan and at what week? Mainly asking for my own knowledge, in 4th month now.
Suno, don't waste time on this. Legally it's not possible to know here, so just buy neutral baby items like light green, white, or yellow. Focus your energy on preparing the nursery and buying basic clothes that suit both.
Unless you have a magic crystal ball, there is zero legal way to know in India! My family guessed boy because of my round belly, but out came a beautiful baby girl. Just enjoy the suspense, haha!
My pregnancy tracker app had a Chinese gender calendar tool which was fun to play with, but it's purely for entertainment! Legally, you just have to wait until delivery day here in India.
Even I am trying to guess every day! Since we can't find out legally here, did any of you try those harmless old wives' tales like the baking soda test or checking heart rate? Did it actually turn out correct for you?
I know how exciting it is to guess, but legally in India we cannot find out before birth. Trust me, the moment you hold your baby in the delivery room, whether it's a boy or girl won't matter at all because you will be so in love.
Honestly, we spent nine months guessing and checking those silly online charts just for fun. In the end, it was a complete surprise in the labor room! It is actually much more exciting that way.
Please remember that gender determination is strictly illegal in our country and no reputed gynac will ever do it. Do not fall for any local hacks or unsafe herbal medicines that claim to tell or change the gender, it is highly dangerous.
