Im in my 9th month now and getting a little anxious about delivery. Honestly im scared i wont be able to tell if my water breaks vs just normal discharge. How do u actually know? First time mom here so pls help.
Water breaking can be a big gush or a slow trickle that you cant control, unlike normal discharge. It is usually clear and watery and keeps coming. If you think your water broke, call your gynac and go to hospital, dont wait.
For me it was a sudden warm gush at night, very clear water. We rushed in and my doctor confirmed. If you are leaking and unsure, just go get it checked, they can test it easily.
Mine was a slow leak, not the dramatic gush you see in movies. I wasnt sure so I called the hospital and they told me to come in, turned out it really was. Better to get checked than guess.
