How to gain baby weight in 7th month of pregnancy?
At my last scan the doctor said baby's weight is slightly on the lower side and now I'm a bit worried. I'm in my 7th month. I'm eating ok but want to know what really helps baby gain weight in these last weeks. Pls share what worked for you.
For baby weight, protein is key, not just eating tons. I added eggs, milk, paneer, nuts and good fats like ghee in moderation. But honestly trust your doctor's plan because they know your baby's exact measurements from the scan.
My amma made me a glass of milk with a few soaked almonds and dates daily, and the doctor was happy with the weight at next scan. Eat well and rest well. But always let your gynac decide if baby actually needs more, dont panic on your own.
I stressed so much about baby's weight in my 7th month, kept reading online and scaring myself. What actually helped was sticking to the diet my doc gave and eating frequent small meals. Try not to spiral like I did, trust the checkups.
I had to be careful coz of my sugar levels, so I couldnt just eat sweets to gain weight. My dietician gave a proper plan with protein and healthy fats. Please dont blindly load up on calories, get a tailored diet from your doctor especially this stage.
When my baby's weight was on the lower side my gynac told me to add more protein, milk, eggs, dal, paneer and dry fruits, and a few smaller meals through the day. She also monitored with scans. Please follow your doctor's diet rather than randomly eating more, they guide based on baby's actual weight.
