At my last scan doctor said babys weight is on the lower side and now im stressing about it. Im 34 weeks. What did u all eat to help baby gain healthy weight? pls share.
When my baby was a little small on scan, my gynac told me to add more protein like dal, eggs, paneer, plus dry fruits, milk and ghee in good amounts. She also said rest well and don't skip meals. Follow your doctor's specific advice since growth depends on many things.
Just a gentle note, gaining baby weight isn't about eating loads of sweets. With my sugar issue I had to be careful, so I focused on protein and good fats not junk. Always best to let the doctor guide the diet for healthy growth.
I totally understand the worry when they say baby is small, my heart sank too. But with proper food and rest mine caught up beautifully. Trust your doctor and don't stress, stress doesn't help either of you.
Beta in our home we always gave the expecting mother milk with a little kesar, dry fruits and homemade ghee. Eat warm nourishing food regularly. But also keep going to the doctor for the growth scans, that's important.
