How to gain weight during pregnancy first trimester?
I am 9 weeks and because of vomiting I have lost almost 1 kg instead of gaining. Family keeps saying eat more, but I feel full quickly. What helped you maintain weight in first trimester?
First trimester mein bahut weight gain ka pressure mat lo. Thoda bohot nausea aur food aversion common hai. Bas healthy khao, small frequent meals. Zyada junk food se sirf empty calories milenge, baby ko nutrition nahi. Gynac se baat karna agar bahut kam ho raha hai aur you're concerned.
Mere saath bhi aisa hi hua tha, pehle trimester mein khane ka bilkul mann nahi karta tha. Mummy ne bahut dhyan rakha, chote chote meals deti thi, dry fruits, lassi. Bas jo bhi digest ho raha hai, acche se khao. Thoda thoda khao, but healthy khao for the baby and yourself.
Honestly, in the first trimester, many women actually lose a little weight or just maintain it due to morning sickness. Don't worry too much about 'gaining' specific kgs then. Focus on nutrient-dense foods: nuts, fruits, good fats like avocado, and proper proteins. Quantity se zyada quality dekho, that's key.
This is something very specific to your body and your doctor would be the best person to advise. Every pregnancy is different, and they can suggest a diet plan that is safe and effective for you. Please check with your gynac before making any changes, just to be absolutely sure.
For me, it was about consistency with healthy, balanced meals rather than just 'eating more'. I also did light walks and doctor-approved prenatal yoga which helped with appetite and digestion. But definitely check with your gynac first about your diet and exercise plan, every body is different.
