How to gain weight during pregnancy third trimester?
Im in my 8th month and my weight gain has been really slow, gynac also mentioned baby ka weight thoda kam hai. Feeling a bit tension about it. What did u all eat to put on weight at this stage?
I felt so emotional when my doc told me my weight was slightly low in the 8th month. I literally cried thinking I wasn't doing enough, but then I started having daily dry fruits, paneer, and milk. Slowly baby's weight and my weight both went up nicely, so please don't stress yourself.
I could barely eat anything till the 6th month due to severe vomiting, so I was underweight. In the third trimester, I started having small portions of dry fruit laddoos and coconut water since large meals made me sick. Empathetically telling you, eat whatever you can tolerate, even small bites help.
Ghar ka khana is the best for this! Have a handful of soaked almonds and walnuts daily, and add ghee to your rotis. But if you feel baby movement is less or you have severe nausea, please ask your doctor immediately instead of trying home remedies.
I am currently in my 2nd trimester and also super worried about weight gain as my bump is still small. Does the weight really shoot up suddenly in the 3rd trimester? Please share what worked for you guys, I am also taking notes.
After a long IVF journey, every single gram of weight felt like a big milestone. I was advised to eat safe, home-cooked, protein-rich foods like dal, paneer, and milk to support the baby's growth safely. Wishing you a very smooth and blessed third trimester, take care.
Having PCOS made my pregnancy journey very cautious, so I avoided dirty bulking with junk food. Focus on clean fats like ghee, seeds, and quality protein so that weight gain is healthy. Talk to your nutritionist once to get a proper diet chart.
Actually third trimester me baby ka weight fatfat badhta hai, so u will naturally gain. Add full-fat curd, paneer, and peanut butter to your diet, yaar. Main toh sham ko daily avocado ya banana milkshake peeti thi, helped me a lot!
For healthy weight gain, keep eating small nutrient-dense meals like sweet potato, nuts, and ragi. Also, keep doing mild prenatal yoga or walking if your doctor has allowed physical activity. It helps in absorbing nutrients better and keeps you fit.
Don't buy those expensive protein powders or high-end health drinks, they cost a bomb. Simple home items like boiled eggs, bananas, sattu, and full-fat milk work wonders for weight gain. Save that money for delivery expenses and baby shopping instead.
Please be very careful while trying to gain weight, don't just eat sweets or heavy carbs. I had GD and had to focus on lean proteins like dal, sprouts, paneer, and boiled eggs rather than high sugar fruits or white rice. Check your blood sugar first before changing your diet.
