My gynac said at my last visit that the baby's weight is on the lower side and I should focus on it. Im trying to eat more but the nausea is not helping much. What foods actually helped your baby gain weight? pls share what worked.
You dont need expensive supplements for this honestly. Eggs, dal, milk, peanuts, banana and ghee in roti did the job for me cheaply. Eat well and regular, simple home food works.
Focus on quality not just quantity, add good fats like ghee, nuts, dairy and proper protein. I added a glass of milk with dry fruits daily and it helped the baby's growth. But always follow what your gynac says based on your scans.
When my baby's weight was on the lower side, my doctor told me to add more protein, milk, eggs and healthy fats rather than just carbs. She also said it's about steady nutrition not stuffing yourself. Your gynac can give a target based on your scan, so follow that.
If the doctor flagged low baby weight, please follow their plan closely rather than random tips. In my case they monitored growth with extra scans. Eating well helps but medical guidance is key here.
