Im in my 8th month and at my last visit the doctor said babys weight is on the lower side. Now im stressing about it and want to eat right to help. What did u all eat in the last months to gain healthy weight? any tips welcome.
At 8 months focus on quality not just quantity yaar. I added more dal, paneer, eggs, nuts and a glass of milk daily. But pls check with ur gynac first, sometimes they want a specific target, dont just stuff urself.
You dont need expensive stuff for this honestly. Dal, eggs, peanuts, milk, banana, ghee in food, all simple and good for gaining. I did this on a normal budget. Just run it by ur doctor to know how much you really need.
I worry about baby weight too. My doc told me not to panic and just eat balanced protein rich meals often. If the doctor said baby needs more growth, definitely ask them for a proper diet plan, that reassured me a lot.
Late in pregnancy they often want steady healthy weight gain, not sudden. My gynac suggested protein rich foods, dairy, dry fruits and healthy fats over junk. Best to ask ur doctor for ur target since every pregnancy is different.
Small frequent meals helped me ma, with healthy fats like ghee, nuts and good protein. My family kept feeding me but I always confirmed with my doctor what was right. Listen to ur gynac on how much weight is needed at this stage.
I had to gain carefully because of my sugar issue, so my doctor and a dietician guided exactly what to eat. If u need to gain in the 8th month, do it under ur gynac advice so baby grows well without overshooting on the wrong foods.
