My baby is almost 4 months now and the tummy is just not going. I know it takes time but its making me feel low when i see old clothes. What worked for u mommas post delivery? gentle stuff that actually helped.
Please give yourself time, specially if it was a C-section like mine. I didnt do any core work till my doctor cleared me at the checkup, the wound needs to heal first. Slowly with light walks and good food it improves, dont rush your body.
Once your doctor gives the green light after the postnatal checkup, start with walking and gentle core work, dont jump into heavy ab workouts. Build up slowly. Doing too much too soon can hurt, specially the abdominal muscles that need to recover.
Be patient, the belly takes months to go down, its normal. Eat healthy, stay hydrated, and once your doctor allows, start gentle walks then slowly core exercises. Crash diets while feeding are a bad idea. It came back for me both times, just takes time.
Honestly be kind to yourself, your body just did something amazing. I felt sad about my tummy too but it slowly got better with time and care. Dont let those filtered photos pressure you, healing first, flat tummy later.
Breastfeeding actually helped my tummy shrink slowly cause it burns extra energy, so dont diet too hard while nursing. Eat nourishing food, you need the strength. The flat tummy will come gradually, dont compare with celebs who have full time help.
