We are planning to start a family soon but honestly im terrified, mostly about the delivery and all the changes. some nights i cant even sleep thinking about it. how did you all deal with this fear? need to hear some real experiences.
Take it one day at a time. I leaned on prayer and staying around positive people, it kept me calm. Trust your body and your doctor. Fear is natural but dont let it sit alone in your head, share it.
I felt terrified before and during my first pregnancy, you're not alone in this. Slowly as I learnt what was happening in my body the fear reduced. Talking to other moms here helped me feel normal. You'll be okay.
Honestly knowledge kills fear. Once I understood the process and had a doctor I trusted, the worry dropped a lot. Pick a gynac you're comfortable with, ask all your 'silly' questions, and stay off random scary videos online.
Breathe dear, what you're feeling is so common. Surround yourself with supportive people, keep your checkups regular, and lean on your partner. If the fear feels overwhelming, please dont hesitate to speak to a counsellor or your doctor, there's no shame in it.
First, your fear is completely valid, I had bad anxiety the whole time. What helped me was talking openly about it, not bottling it up, and reading from trusted sources instead of scary forums. If it gets too heavy please tell your doctor, they can really help.
