Delivered my baby almost 5 months back and still no period yet. Im breastfeeding so maybe thats why? Just wondering when it usually comes back for everyone, getting a little worried honestly.
Dont worry about this too much, every mom is different here. The body resets the cycle when it is ready, specially once feeding reduces. Give it time, it is completely normal.
If u r breastfeeding, periods often take longer to come back, sometimes many months, and thats normal. Mine came back only after I reduced feeding. Dont try to force it, body takes its own time.
There is no real way to bring it faster, it comes on its own. With my first it took 6 months, with second only 2, all depends on feeding and hormones. Be patient, it will return.
It usually comes back naturally so dont rush it. But if its been very long and u r not breastfeeding, better to get it checked with ur gynac just to be safe. Could be a simple hormonal thing.
After my c section my period came back around 4 months, others get it sooner. Body is healing and adjusting hormones, so it varies a lot. If u feel something is off though, just mention it to ur doctor at the check up.
