How to get relief from back pain during pregnancy?
My kamar has been killing me since the second trimester started, especially when i get up in the morning. I dont want to keep popping any medicine so looking for simple things that actually help. Anyone got tips that worked?
With two babies inside, my back was literally screaming! I used to make my husband massage my lower back gently with warm oil, and that hot water bag was my best friend. Just make sure the water isn't too hot!
Apart from managing my diet, back pain was my biggest struggle. I found that doing light prenatal walks helped release the tension in my lower back. Make sure your doctor approves of any activity first.
My mother suggested applying a warm compress, which gave me mild relief. But please check with your gynac first to ensure it's safe for you. Sometimes simple posture changes are enough.
Please don't take any back pain lightly, especially if it is sharp. I had severe issues in my second trimester and my doctor had to recommend specific physiotherapy. Don't try random home remedies without asking them.
Since my pregnancy was through IVF, I was terrified of any physical pain. My doctor told me to rest and avoid bending completely. A gentle heating pad on a very low setting helped, but do consult your team first.
Oh that backache is so annoying! 🙈 Try sleeping on your side with a pillow between your knees, it really aligns the spine. Also don't sit in one posture for too long, take small walks! 🌸
I had a lot of backache but doing mild stretching under expert guidance helped me prepare for normal delivery. Also, try sitting with proper lumbar support. It gets much better, hang in there!
Back pain is super common but honestly, you should ask your doctor before trying any stretches. For me, a maternity pillow was a lifesaver for sleeping. Avoid standing for too long and wear comfortable flats.
