How to get relief from pelvic pain during pregnancy?
Pelvic pain is making turning in bed so hard, especially at night. I am 31 weeks and some days I walk like an old lady. Any tips that helped you get relief?
Mild pelvic ache from stretching is usually normal, but please dont brush off pain that is severe, with bleeding, or feels like rhythmic cramps, get that checked with your gynac quickly. For the everyday soreness, rest, support belt and warm compress help.
Sitting all day at work made mine worse. I started taking short breaks to walk and stretch, used a small cushion for support, and avoided heels obviously. Little adjustments through the day made a real difference for me.
Some gentle prenatal stretches and pelvic exercises (only the ones my physio/doc approved) really eased mine. Also dont sit or stand in one position too long. Warm compress felt nice too. But get the moves cleared by your doctor first.
Pelvic pain is so common as baby grows. What helped me was a maternity belt for support, not standing too long, and sleeping with a pillow between my knees. Slow movements, avoid sudden twists. If it gets sharp or unbearable though, mention it to your gynac.
I've been getting this pulling pain near the pelvis and it scared me. Doc said it's the ligaments stretching. A support belt and rest helped. Did anyone else feel this in 2nd trimester? made me feel less alone knowing it's normal.
