honestly the acidity gets so bad at night that i cant even lie down properly. third trimester and its only getting worse. how do you all manage it, specially to actually sleep?
A slow 10 min walk after meals really helped my digestion and reduced the burning. My doctor okayed light walking for me. Don't lie down straight after eating, that's when it gets worse.
Sleep with ur head raised on an extra pillow, makes a big difference at night. Eat dinner early, atleast 2 hrs before bed. And small meals through the day instead of stuffing yourself.
Haan acidity toh har pregnant lady ki problem hai na. Chaas piyo, thanda doodh piyo, aur spicy khaana band karo for some time. Slowly it settles down beta.
Just delivered last month and ufff the acidity in third trimester was brutal. What worked for me was eating slow, chewing properly and avoiding tomatoes and chai. It does ease after delivery, hang in there.
With twins I felt like a walking volcano lol. Smaller plates, more often, and cold curd were my survival kit. If nothing helps and it's really bad, ask ur doc, they can suggest something safe.
I used to panic that something was wrong but acidity is super common in pregnancy. Cold milk between meals helped calm mine. If it ever feels like burning with chest pain that wont go, just call ur gynac to be safe.
