this burning feeling in my chest after every meal is killing me, specially at night when i lie down. im in my third tri and it has gotten so bad. how do u all manage it?
That burning chest feeling is so annoying, I had it badly. Eating smaller meals and not lying down for an hour after eating helped me the most. Avoid spicy and oily at night, and if it's really bad your gynac can give a safe antacid.
With my work schedule I used to eat late and big, which made it worse. Switching to small frequent meals and a light early dinner sorted most of it. Keep some cold milk handy at your desk honestly.
My mother told me to sip a little cold milk or buttermilk and it really soothed the burn. Small meals helped too. For the bad days I took only what my doctor suggested, never random antacids.
Prop yourself up with extra pillows at night, that one change fixed half my problem. Eat slowly, smaller portions, cut spicy food. If it keeps troubling you, ask your doctor for a pregnancy safe antacid, dont just pick any.
